Their is an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Support
Technician.
The primary job responsibilities involve
rebuilding and maintaining PC’s, installing software, upgrading
hardware and software on PC’s and servers, maintaining wireless cell
phone systems and providing client support.
The individual will
provide instruction, training, and assistance to users involving
database maintenance of software applications, and respond to employees
questions. The position also involves writing and testing code,
troubleshooting and repairing microcomputer hardware, and provides
assistance with running cable as necessary.
Candidates must have
at least one year experience in the IT field, be A+ certified, and have
extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems. A working knowledge
of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in SQL and
/or VB programming.
Excellent
interpersonal, oral and written communications skills to effectively
work and deal with all employees of the organization are necessary.
Promptness and dependability are essential.
The individual will be
required to carry a cell phone to respond to support calls, and have a
reliable source of transportation to transport equipment/materials to
and from vendors and service calls to branch offices.
The position involves
a flexible work schedule consisting of 24 hours and will be part of the
rotating on-call schedule for after hours and weekends. Overtime may be
required. This is a hourly position and reports directly to the
Production / Creative Manager.
