| DESCRIPTION:
The SandPaper
is Cape May County's free weekly newsmagazine, published since 1976. An
entertaining mix of local news and human interest features combined with
careful attention to design excellence is The SandPaper's trademark.
Inspired use of photography plus graphically appealing layout are pursued in
every issue. Comprehensive entertainment and calendar listings for Ocean
City and the adjacent mainland make the publication popular with active and
vital readers. Regular coverage of activities unique to the New Jersey Shore
(fishing, boating etc.) rounds out The SandPaper's editorial offering. |

| FORMAT:
The SandPaper follows a newsmagazine format, combining elements of both
newspaper and magazine design. It is tabloid in size and printed on
high-quality newsprint. Where it benefits reader and advertisers, similar
types of advertising are loosely grouped into sections. |

| COVERAGE:
The SandPaper is distributed free every Friday throughout , Ocean City, the
adjacent mainland and Southern Atlantic County, New Jersey. The SandPaper
publishes March through October. Peak Season Approx. 20,000 copies. |

| DEADLINE:
The deadline for display advertising is 5 p.m. Wednesday. Proofs are
available on ad copy received by the Wednesday immediately preceding the
Thursday print date. |

| DISTRIBUTION:
The SandPaper, The Beachcomber and and Free-time are distributed free, via
bulk delivery, to virtually every business in their covering areas. During
the summer season, distribution to Realtors and welcome centers is greatly
increased so that renters starting vacation are assured a copy. |

20,000 copies at peak season. |

MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS: All
newsmagazines published by Catamaran Media are tabloid format with six-9
pica advertising columns per page. Pages are 62 picas wide and 13 inches
deep. There is a one-pica gutter between columns. Ads are sold by the column
inch. The minimum ad size is two column inches. |

POLITICAL RATE: Open Rate, inserts
$52. per thousand single sheet. Charity/Non-Profit: year round rate.National/Agency:
Open rates are commissionable to recognized agencies; all other rates are
net. |

INSERTS: Inserts are accepted at the
rate of $42. per thousand for single sheets up to 8 pages. Inserts must be
printed on 67lb V.B. paper or 70 lb card stock. Any insert sized over
8 1/2 x 11 must be folded. No 20 lb paper stock. |

| |
COLOR: Color is dependent on
availability. Position requests on color ads can not be honored. Minimum
space order for color ads is 1/8 page. |

POSITION REQUESTS: Position will be
considered and granted when possible for advertisements of at least 1/4 page
at an additional cost of 15 percent of original ad. If paid position is not
honored, the 15 percent charge will not be applied. Decision to run ads can
not be based on position in the newspaper. |
